🚨 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 #𝗚𝗮𝘇𝗮. Our paper focuses not only on the necessary change of course in German policy in line with international law obligations, but above all on concrete options for action along the way.

In the regional context, but also in view of the situation for Palestinians, which is unbearable and inhumane from a #humanitarian perspective, with numerous documented violations of human rights and international law and increasing classification by UN organisations and legal experts as genocide.

For #German politics, this makes it all the more necessary to uphold #humanrights, international law, and human #security and to align its actions accordingly.

With unforeseeable consequences and the all too tangible possibility of a provoked #war, which not only seems to undermine the latest diplomatic efforts, but also increases Iran's interest in nuclear material usable for weapons.

However, for several hours now, with #Israel's far-reaching attacks on #Iran, the region has been in the midst of the feared further escalation.
