All this is to say... I'm so grateful for all the online friends who cared so much about me during the worst parts of my life and I desperately miss so many of the people who kept me alive when I couldn't find the strength in myself.

It's so hard knowing so many of those other kids I talked to were also actively suicidal and/or engaging in self harm. We were all in danger on those apps, whether it was from ourselves or adults taking advantage of us. So many of my friendships disappeared over the years

so many kids with hope and joy and love in their hearts. I had so many wonderful relationships with others like me, whether it was romantic or sexual or platonic. Genuinely, there were friendships I had through Kik and Miiverse that kept me alive through the darkest parts of my life.

but those two places housed so much of my pain and suffering for years on end. What's really getting to me right now is how many of the other kids I talked to back then might not be alive anymore and I have absolutely no way of even finding out. I met so many amazing people through there,

I don't like Modelos because the one time I tried them I was coming off of mushrooms and it tasted like dirt and wouldn't stop, the flavour kept getting worse and worse the further it went down

I think it's incredibly charming, like having the background be so wonderfully detailed and then having the character sprites still be like 16-bit, it's so cute to me :)

I think some people have trouble seeing fascism as anything other than 1940s Germany.

But I think 'people going to a comic convention needing to have a plan in case the government's goons show up to disappear people' is a pretty good demonstration of what it can look like in 2025.
