The genocide in Gaza demands moral clarity & decisive action.
As infants die of starvation, we cannot look away.
I joined @pressley.house.gov and @pettersen.house.gov in demanding Secretary Rubio facilitate an end to the Israeli blockade & ensure that food & baby formula enter Gaza immediately.
It is unconscionable for baby formula to be sitting at the border of Gaza as newborns & infants die of starvation.
Secretary Rubio must heed our calls to pressure Israel to surge humanitarian aid including ready to feed formula to families in Gaza.
Lives depend on it.

After Pressure from Pressley, Oversight Committee to Convene Closed-Door Roundtable with Survivors of Epstein’s Abuse (2/2) “I strongly encourage all of my Oversight colleagues to join this roundtable and provide the survivors the space to share their stories and be heard with the respect and dignity they deserve. But justice delayed is justice denied. I continue to demand a full and public Congressional hearing to ensure their testimony is documented in the Congressional Record and shared transparently with the public. And as the Oversight Committee continues its investigation, I continue to demand the release of the full, unredacted Epstein files with the names of survivors protected.”
UPDATE: House Oversight is convening a private roundtable with survivors of Epstein’s abuse.
This is a testament to our pressure.
I look forward to hearing from survivors & won't stop pushing for a full, public hearing so their stories are documented in the Congressional Record.

"The Foothill Community Democrats demand that the city councils of the foothill communities of Arcadia, Duarte, Monrovia, and Sierra Madre join the city of Los Angeles's litigation against the aggressive and dangerous tactics deployed by ICE against the residents of California. These unconstitutional, illegal, and immoral tactics violate the due process rights of all people residing within the US and diminish public trust in government. These cruel strategies fail to address the ongoing exploitation of immigrant labor, the imperialist foreign policy which destabilizes the home countries of immigrants, or the black market trade of people, guns, and drugs across our border (cont)....

A man fled from the raid, and was struck by in oncoming vehicle. The man later died from his injuries. This is just ANOTHER reason why ICE is a danger to this community.
