Shin-ah really is a sweetheart, all of these dragons are. They’ve lost their eyesight, limbs, or their bodies are completely different, but they have the time to help each other & work to stay calm. What Shin-ah said to Yona was so needed ❤️‍🩹

the 1st episode of This Monster Wants To Eat Me was honestly soooo good. I’m shocked that the animation not only looked pretty but it stuck pretty closely to the manga. I like the VA’s performance for Hinako, somber & solemn with underlying hints of sadness

(Also a preference is fine ofc! I read and watch shonen all the time but I do tend to prefer shojosei & even seinen series!
Not giving any a chance or minimizing a whole demographic to one genre (&/or discrediting the beauty or depth of that genre) is very different).

Saying you refuse to read shojosei is also saying you refuse to read ANY manga aimed for women/girls.
If you can’t recognize at least a tinge of misogyny there, you should think a bit deeper.

If you don’t like certain genres, cool, but shojo’s diverse! Give some a try!

Right! Like I got Children of the Whales & Ooku because under signature they get a better look! Otherwise it’s just weird and used because they want more people to buy it which is just odd and kinda says a lot

I really do wish Girl Crush was under shojo beat (especially since it’s not under anything special like VIZ signature) because now people are telling me it’s not shoujo because it’s not under shojo beat…

But whether they end up platonic or romantic, I love it! They have such a deep & complex bond!

the second volume of The Failure at God School solidified this as one of my favorite new shoujo releases!!! I love Nagi and the whole crew, especially Miruru and Touta so far. This is gonna be perfect for fans of classic shoujo like Gakuen Alice or even new shonen like My Hero.

Oh yeah I avoid those ones too. I do not like realistic big age gaps specifically.
