After a long day of work and kitchen renovation, I’m sneaking in a few minutes of cleaning and tuning up the Laissez Boy.

I think its been really affordable so far. This is a pretty big home and we keep it warm enough to go barefoot and wear t-shirts. The hydronic heat is slow to respond to changes but very good at maintaining temperature once it is there.

In our ongoing cabinets.com saga, you may remember the recent chapter where they send us a replacement cabinet with themselves as the named recipient (but with our address), and it ended up in limbo in ABQ until Holly found it. Well, today we got the overdue bill for it from FedEx.

We woke up this morning to no water in the house but fortunately our hydronic heat was still working. It was a frozen water meter with rodent chewed insulation. Five minutes with a hair dryer and a cover of moving blankets and we have water again!
