I am so sick and tired of seeing MPs and the media shit themselves over refugees arriving in small boats over the channel.

If your initial reaction to seeing these boats is anything other than β€œthose poor bastards, I hope they make it across” then you have failed as a human being.

POWDER KEG UK ABOUT TO BLOW UP AS BRITAIN STANDS ON THE BRINK OF THE WHOLE NATION DESCENDING INTO CIVIL WAR

by Our Apocalypse Staff
HELENA HANDCART

THE entire country has turned into a tinderbox, one spark and the whole thing could turn into a raging inferno of hatred and violence. All it needs is one little push - preferably from us - and this once peaceful island will explode.
It may not take much, maybe an article with some badly researched facts, maybe some exaggerated and provocative hyperbole, and before we know it there'll be blood on the streets, and flames too, as millions of furious citizens attack each other, the police, and the emergency services,
not to
mention the armed forces should they tragically be called in to deal with the hate-filled mob rampaging through our cities, towns and villages, armed with burning torches and pitchforks, calling for justice, free speech and the immediate death of everyone they don't like. (Top journalism, Ed).
Make no mistake, if Britain even exists by next week, we will run this piece again until someone sparks the tinderbox on the brink of the powderkeg that... (cont. for entire summer).

No one sums up the utter shamelessness of the British press and the ugly politics of Farage quite like Private Eye.

Absolutely Toby. The awful thing about all the American tech companies is that their business models always involve their users being bent over a digital barrel, as such. However there are plenty of amazing 'open source' solutions and who want to be a slave to big tech anyway? Take back control ;)

DIY PC time and having to use windows. The thought is pretty appalling but in all fairness I ditched logic and Final Cut some time ago in favour of Resolve, PTools etc. Ureal engine works better on PCs and I’m pretty sure I can work out the difference between CNTRL Click and command click ;)

Reform UK Are Sending Candidates For Psychiatric Testing To Reform UK’s vetting process requires their parliamentary candidates to undergo psychiatric testing to assess mental health and check for problem behaviour.

Psychiatric testing for Reform candidates!!!!
I take it, this is in case any of them has been kicked in the head by that bloody horse.

Sadly Nigel, that ship has sailed.

The next part of the plan to steal the midterms and/or the 2028 election - an attempt to do a mid-decade census to take seats and electoral votes away from blue states. I knew this was coming.

The Constitution dictates that the census is a count "all persons" conducted every "ten years." Donald Trump has no power to alter either the timing or who is counted.

Russia needed the bombings on their oil refineries to stop because that’s been hurting them bad. My guess is that Putin promised Witkoff he would stop bombing apartment buildings for a month to buy time to beef up air defense systems around refineries and delay sanctions again.

As we resist Trump’s tyranny, America gains solidarity.

As we gain solidarity, we feel more courageous.

As we feel courageous and stand up to Trump, we weaken him and his regime.

As we weaken Trump and his regime, we have less to fear.

Remember-- if Trump wanted transparency on Epstein, he wouldn't need to gather Vance, Bondi, Patel, Blanche and Wiles tonight to discuss strategy; he would simply release the files. This is what a coverup looks like.

weird how the guy born into obscene wealth, bailed out repeatedly, allowed to fail upwards forever until he fell ass-backwards into the presidency, and then was declared by the Supreme Court to be a Very Special Boy Who Can Crime Forever never stops whining about how everything is rigged against him

I wonder what it could be about the cost, queues, red tape, loss of investment, loss of opportunity, isolation, dishonesty, failure and downright tedium of the Brexit moronathon that has led to people not rating it any more…

β€˜Self-termination is most likely’: the history and future of societal collapse An epic analysis of 5,000 years of civilisation argues that a global collapse is coming unless inequality is vanquished

For thousands of years, we have been parasitised, exploited and destroyed by elites. Our survival depends on overthrowing them.

I was born in the mid 1950s. The thought that people a decade or so younger than me want to return to the miserable grey β€˜boiled meat’ tones of that time tells me one thing. They have no fucking idea about life in those years, let alone a cunning plan for our glorious future. They’re so full of it.

REFORM UK VS REALITY
Farage's party has started to sound bitter
The Guardian

Nigel Farage's great appeal to his followers used to be the fact that he liked a drink and a laugh; that he was enjoying himself. But lately his party has begun to sound bitter, nihilistic, oddly hysterical.
Claiming that Britain is on the verge of societal collapse plays well on X, but perhaps less well in daylight.
Britain has big problems, many of them deep seated.
But it's still a country where people wash their cars in suburban driveways on a Sunday, not a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
There's undeniably a market for politicians wallowing angrily in dreams of a better yesterday. But I suspect there's still a bigger one waiting to catch sight of a better tomorrow.
