Standard Women's murder club easy read, plot not as good as some previous installments.

Does anybody else seem to have a love/hate relationship with Booker prize winners? Sometimes they just try to be too intellectual. ππ

Although this book was well written, the lack of plot and my inability to connect with the characters made this rather short read a struggle to complete.
2 stars.
It's a good one, definitely gives more depth to the posts we've all been following for the last couple of years. π

A heartwarming tale about love and patience with a fearful rescue dog named Sophie. As a follower I knew the outline of the story but the book filled in so many blanks.
A lovely read - 4.5 stars.

Fluffy grey dog bed with a grey blanket covered in paw prints inside and a sleepy puppy, whose head can just be seen coming out of the edge of the bed.

It's been an awfully long weekend with Storm Bert given that this little lady decided she would not walk or go potty in the rain. π As we live in the UK not going out in the rain isn't really an option. Hopefully she'll change her mind when her new coat arrives! #DogsofBluesky
