There's a lot of emphasis placed on following the orders of the president as a member of the military these days.

We used to all hold our breath hoping a shooter wasn’t a Muslim or a trans person.

You can be anti-imperialist and criticize the military/government while still acknowledging the crucial role these men and women played in furthering civil rights for African Americans and women.

Most people I've seen talk about this only mention the Tuskegee Airmen! While they were crucial to the war effort, so were the WASPs! I even did a report on them in high school.

First they came for the immigrants, and I spoke out, because I’ve read the damn poem before and I know how it ends.

Their faith lets them worship power while they’re offended by mercy. It’s not Christianity they’re practicing.
