Plans for outright ban on use of counselling notes in rape trials likely to be rolled back As it stands, a victim’s counselling notes can be used as evidence if they are deemed to be relevant to the case.

Shocking that this isn’t a straightforward right. No victim should have to offer their deepest thoughts to the accused. Victims are entitled to get therapy. Can’t believe this isn’t automatic.
