Curious to ask, what do you think your personal favourite part of 3+4 to work on was? I knew you'd worked on the Green Room at one point, though based on the gamefiles it changed quite a bit.

Watching people depict Seam as an old gravelly male for the 400th time despite their androgynous nature

Same shit happens with other canonically NB/genderless characters in UTDR, where people have very blatant preferences rather than simply depicting them as. not-gendered.

Like the whole point is that Kris is extremely androgynous, same for Frisk and Chara... yet people will add really obviously masc/fem gendered features to them, which goes against who they are. None of them are supposed to look like one specific gender. They're meant to be ANDROGYNOUS

I also just take issue with the very clear masculine bias to Kris which seems to be perpetuated subconsciously through the fandom. Like, this is very clearly some weird subconscious thing as the opposite effect of "Frisk/Chara are a boy/girl!".

"Kris isn't referred to as nonbinary in the game" they say, when if Toby had a character say "Kris, so you're nonbinary right?" They'd act like it's still not an actual confirmation and more of a suggestion. It's so fucking annoying.

I'm totally willing to accept weirder/esoteric headcanons, stuff like Kerdly is really cute, same for a lot of other crackships, potential story beats for AUs, etc. But a lot of people will act like very basic misinformation is truth.

On the other side of the coin, people are becoming way more willing to be completely ignorant to very basic things presented in the game (Kris being their own person, Kris' pronouns, Asriel being at college, Susie and Noelle as a whole) to a point where they get really REALLY toxic about it

I've seen so many instances of people just straight up hating each other over the dumbest disagreements, which to me is worse than simply "getting angry someone doesn't agree with you."

Been feeling pretty bummed out about the state of the fandom recently and how people are completely unable to agree to disagree or enjoy things without relying on the judgement of other people.

May rant a little in a thread but I've noticed things getting even more broadly toxic than usual
