I finished annotating (most of) the translation with 8-4's assistance. I skipped a couple unfinished parts, but it's enough for the translator to properly start work on Monday! Yay!

That's most of my immediate thoughts, though there's definitely more to bring up- the knocking on the Mikes' room may have been specifically to get them out to join the festivities. I do think that all the festival stuff would be for Susie, Ralsei's way of comforting her. (9...)

The Nose Nuzzling contest is obviously treated as a festivity and- honestly, this one's more of a shot in the dark but... I think it's pretty plausible that we'll get a funny nose-nuzzling contest with Ralsei during CH5? perhaps even with Cat Mike... Who nose! (8/??)

New Home from the anniversary stream contains a familiar balloon asset that a lot of DELTARUNE fans recognised, obviously- this asset has been associated heavily with Chapter 5 for a very long time. Its very first appearance, after all... was in reference to Chapter 5! (7/??)

Caked-up, a double meaning, is noted in the context of the dialog to be "totally covered in make-up" which begs the question of why a little worm would need any of that? The answer is- Koody is dolled up for the festivities, which I think matches how we know everybody dressed nice for it. (6/??)

Second: Lancer practicing a marching band act with Koody and some other CH1 folks when you revisit town! This is like, obviously meant to be something festive right. Why else would he be doing it when nobody's around? He's practicing!! The whole town is also fenced off... (5/??)

First: Jackenstein, who's 100% coming to Castle Town, is a Festival Decoration. He's a ram-shackled Jack-O-Lantern on a stand with a big coat (notably the coat is completely absent from his DW appearance???). Him being brought to our Castle Town on the day of the Festival is pretty blatant... (4/??)

Chapter 5 I think will be Ralsei using the further growth of the Castle Town, as well as the darkners from said world, to make a whole festival- and I think this is given striking evidence by what Toby shared, what we knew before 3+4 even released and context clues at the end of Chapter 4 (3/??)

Chapter 4's late-game is all about Ralsei trying really hard to reassure Susie (who, despite her tough exterior, really needs that.) and things seem to continue off of Chapter 3's intro narratively of Susie still being hurt about Ralsei's intangibility (2/??)

With this and a lot of other late-CH4 stuff I'm convinced that #DELTARUNE Chapter 5 will have the Castle Town dolled up to look like the Festival, with Chapter 4's events inadvertently making the real Festival even less splendorous than it usually is (1/??)

I'm really glad a worm can be caked-up.

Now that's Winter, I'm thinking about NEWSLETTER. But I haven't written anything for one yet...

Right now, my energy is going towards preparing Chapter 5 for localization. The translation process begins next week. We have extracted all the English text and we are now annotating it.
