- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE

Alex was exercising his constitutional right to film and peacefully protest ICE’s presence in Minneapolis. We will not let the Trump administration’s blatant lies hinder the truth or dim Alex’s legacy.

A lot of this feels like the child separation backlash. Which is really good and important but I remember how it neither lasted nor protected us from Covid and January 6th.

Which is to say I think there’s room for all the emotions. It’s good to be inspired or have hope. It’s understandable to fear.
