Missed opportunities! Could have linked so much of main story to #eurovision intro - how media worship of a dictator leads to v bad songs (Belarus 2011), how they have dolls in Luxembourg (2025) & how Swedish press freedom means constantly mocking selves (every interval act they hosted).

Probably some weird geoblocking - if I switch on a VPN & set it to new york, my options reduce to the 2025 1st semi-final , JJ's winning performance, Germany 2025 and then the next is Italy 2012 :/

They're all showing up in Canada (which historically had geoblocks)

It feels like Latvia officially became "rich" when they had the money to do that 'just because'. Kind of high art avante-garde that you can omly do when you've solved most problems in life. Fun. #eurovision
