I doubt they even realize that the price of eggs went up because the poultry industry has been fighting the avian flu since 2022. One sick bird and the whole flock is culled. It takes a while for chicks to mature into laying hens.

My aunt lives in Fl. She had to move in with her brother because she lost her house because she couldn’t afford the insurance. It was 3 times as much as her mortgage payment.
