I used to have so much fun in editing software and now I barely touch it.

Should try photo editing again, like I used to in my college days. While I was mostly focused on programming for school, I liked various aspects of the editing process and creating some fun designs.

Definitely would do it as a fun thing, as I have neither the talent nor work ethic to make it...

Draft feature? hmmmmmmm. We'll see how this goes.

Time to start a random one-off post in the morning and tweak it throughout the day, into something that still offers nothing of real interest to whomever may be reading it.

It's been a few months since I last went to therapy, but it definitely helped me process a lot of buried stuff that was holding me back.

Sounds strange but my dreams are so much calmer than they were before. A lot has changed under the hood, I just need to steer this car in the right direction.

The past 2-3 days have reminded me that I still have people on my side. I sometimes forget that and isolate myself, but really, there are people who want to see me do well and come out of this.

Still need to improve the internal voice, but it's a lot nicer than it was a few months back.

Something about "Nintendo voice guy" is incredibly funny to me.

was busy typing up something... got distracted by BOMBERMAN. Kid me loved playing it on SNES.

Simple concept but a lot of chaotic fun, especially with multiple players.

Followed a while back and was pleasantly surprised to see the first P5 video pop up this morning! Will be missing a lot of streams so this is great for being able to watch when I have time :)

Another benefit is the connection / learning aspect of the label.

Finding out things that work for others that could also work for me.

Ways that I can build on my strengths instead of dwell on my weaknesses.

Plus all the techniques I learned in therapy: breathing, meditation, etc. It's doable.

...that has some unique advantages in some areas while being lacking in others.

It's like I immediately slapped that label on myself and forgot all the things I had experienced and accomplished prior to that. All with the same brain, just no knowledge of the label.

Gotta keep my head up.

It's been nearly six years since my diagnosis, but I still haven't properly accepted it.

At a core belief level, an official label reinforced what I kept telling myself all along: I am a defect / reject, not worthy of success or happiness.

Life stuff has made me put streaming plans on hiatus for a bit. So... decided to start FFV as something to play as time (and health) allows.

I immediately realized that I hadn't started a pixel FF game (blind) since the 90s... Something just feels familiar and right about it.

The "I like talking and always wanted to get into broadcasting" side sees the appeal to this. The "I'm not fully there and not always comfortable with people" side is holding me back.

A year ago I had the bright idea to stream FF4, but stopped myself from doing so because I wasn't comfortable with my setup, and wasn't terribly enthused about streaming a game I'd already played.

Now that I have FF5 on PS5, I'm tempted to do a simple PS Twitch broadcast. Just to see how it feels.
