Instead, I’ll recommend Sarah Schulman’s book about ACT UP. It’s not just a history of the organization; she also talks strategy in a very practical way, especially regard coalitions.

I wish our professional organizations were more intentional about how the current political moment is making it harder for Black, Brown, queer, trans, disabled, and immigrant folks to traverse the world. Leaving the country is terrifying right now.

Everything should have a virtual option.
