Here we are, Laura and I turn(ed) 50 this year. We’re celebrating by watching the sunset over the beach at Hotel del Coronado off the San Diego coast. It’s the hotel that’s featured in the movie “Some Like It Hot!”

We had a great time watching “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” tonight at the Tara. I saw it with different eyes this time, and I did not anticipate that. I’ve seen it too many times to count over the last 33(!) years, and it’s more powerful, intense, heartbreaking, intriguing, and moving than ever.
