Snoutbreakers is all hand-animated! No shading & flat colors is fast to animate, but I've had to take extra care designing the fighters so they're easily readable at any point of animation. Contrasting arm & body colors, emphasizing hands /w features, etc

A lot of systems and parts of the game loop were only closed a short time before we launched it, so it was a big breath of fresh air to have it be actually presentable.

It's a little bit more complicated than that though, just because the remaining not-done enemies are the second half of the game, and late fighters are gonna be more complicated, like Tonfa.

2025 was a pretty good year for Snoutbreakers. The first half was mostly focused on getting the SAGE demo done, which paid off. SAGE went really well and the demo was well received!
I just passed 1000 followers! Truly, this is a blessed boxing day indeed.

To celebrate, have a small, very early sneak peak at the next enemy that we've been working on for Snoutbreakers. They're still very work-in-progress, but they've been very fun to use as a testing grounds for mechanics.
