either way, putting GPUs that are only a few years old in a dog house of sorts sends a terrible message to consumers

ya my theory is that people were blown away by the multiplayer back then so the mediocre campaign gets massively boosted

That's the crazy part though, I had a much better time with games that came before. I think games like doom, quake, half life, goldeneye or perfect dark are just way more enjoyable campaigns

I don't think the campaign was fun for its time even which will get me shot I think

getting something off my chest

about a year ago I played halo ce through, and... It was about the most dreadfully boring game I've ever finished, I was shocked tbh, from beginning to end I just felt nothing

Will try the other halo game campaigns one day but yeah that one was... oof

we're basically done with the GMS2 conversion...... once I'm reaaaaally sure that it's not gonna break I'll push it to steam which is either any minute now or in a week

We've had quite a few requests for more defensive options (dodge rolling, air dodging, air dashes, double jumps, etc.)

and honestly I just don't think the game calls for any of that, just jump good
