Yep. I recall that the veterans who went to college on the GI Bill fueled the greatest expansion of prosperity in the history of the United States in the l950s and 60s. Why the GI Bill is not better known in today's world is a great mystery.

A friend's granddaughter--now grandson--was friendless and alienated from early childhood. The transition allowed him to be fully himself and he now is thriving in college, with a great group of friends. Why so many people in the country object to gender-affirming care is utterly beyond me.
