I agree with paying for software I like - I have a fair size tech stack. I know it takes money to keep developing the tech.

I don't agree with your assessment of Evernote, though. I've tried other options. None can do all that Evernote can. I happily pay for it and use it every day. Just my opinion

If you haven't looked at @evernote.bsky.social in a long time, you should. It has become an even more fabulous tool for note-taking AND productivity with Tasks, calendar integration, collaborative editing, and more. I run my whole business in Evernote, including scanning in handwritten notes. 😁

TickTick is an app I've used for years. This very detailed task management app also has a habit part to it. You might find that meets your needs.
