Morning all. It’s not raining today so after some chores & sofa singing, I’m hoping to finish the 2 in 2 wisteria pruning. Spotted lovely new growth on the euphorbia yesterday. I love the lime contrast. Won’t be long before its seeds crackle in the sunshine. Have a super day 😊🌱

Morning all. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday’s sunshine has inspired the cherry blossoms to burst forth, & it’s a delight. Even though it’s raining again today, spirits are lifted. (Ted is unimpressed & not enjoying being damp again) Have a super day everyone 😊🌱

A real mix, they're mainly for the walled garden, which is a loose cottage type theme.

Just ordered 15 lupins, then realised I'd already ordered 30. Just as well they're one of my favourites 😂 🌱

I really hope so, & that he finds a partner.

Now that the weather has improved, Melvyn is back in his usual spot. No sign of a mate but fingers crossed he finds a partner soon. After all, I do have a des res vacant in the main garden all ready. I have to be close to the trail camera for WiFi connection so will check tonight

They are very photogenic though. My previous dog was a blue roan cocker- refused to run after a ball, just snoozed in the garden, but was extremely good at cuddles.

😂 was meant to say early not wary- but I guess it still works.

No snow here, but it is super windy. I'm trying not to think about the poor guys up the ladders! Thankfully, it's not raining yet...

Morning all. Cold windy here today & the house is freezing as I’m having some windows replaced. Ted is in the snug snoozing & I’m giving the houseplants some tlc. Some of my amaryllis bulbs are very late or extremely wary if you’re a glass half full person 😂 Happy Monday everyone 🌱😊

Afternoon all. My little friend is back in the bird box today. Hopefully it has spotted the nest building materials I’ve supplied nearby. Hope you’re all having a restful Sunday 😊

Hi Lee. I plant most of my bulbs in a very gritty mix for drainage. It helps prevent the bulbs from rotting and keeps the soil aerated. I find the best solution for plant protection is clean baked egg shells around stems. It helps keep slugs, mice etc away.
