Yesterday was a day full of emotions at the #ITC2025.
First it was a pleasure and an honor to be among the few invited to the Legacy Luncheon. What a precious chance to learn from the experience of big names in the field, also in the human side of thyroidology.

Here the authors present a neuroprosthesis that restores the voice of a paralyzed person simultaneously with their speaking attempts, enabling naturalistic communication.

A paper in Nature Neuroscience presents a new device capable of translating speech activity in the brain into spoken words in real-time. This technology could help people with speech loss to regain their ability to communicate more fluently in real time. 🧪
