Today’s Manchester marathon was the hottest, hardest 26.2 miles I’ve ever done. The heat was an absolute killer. Walked a minute per mile from 18 onwards and 13-15 was a sickener.
Completed it though and another medal to boot

20 mile run ahead of Manchester marathon in two weeks.
Not where I should be training wise but 20 miles is still 20 miles. A vet got one this morning with more walking stunts than planned but it’s all miles in the legs

My God, The Newsroom with Jeff Daniels is bloody good tv. Amazing, punchy script by Aaron Sorkin and fantastic performances all round

How? Where are the trades? Most people are waiting over 12 months for a home extension due to skills shortages. A lack of apprenticeships for 20 years has left a massive hole in the skilled trades market.
I’m all for building but have no idea who is actually going to build them
