I will give it this, though: it took guts to make it a sequel to the graphic novel and not the movie, not to mention correctly identifying the most popular character as a symbol of fascism.

My thoughts on the Watchmen sequel miniseries from 2019 halfway into it: if the episodes were half as long and they cut out/rewrote all the Watchmen stuff to not have an IP attached to it, this would be the best show ever made.

Best Animated Feature looks really good this year, ten nominees from six countries, I think that's the most international it's been yet.
