Celebrated the grand opening a new LYS. Kid 2 & 3 each picked out one skein for new socks and I got to squishy all the yarn in person. My semi-rural life has not offered many chances for IRL yarn shopping and having one in my own area may require great restraint. #knitsky 🧶 #LYSday

Highly recommend teaching your kids card games so you can bring them to cafes for cards and coffees. #coffee #weekends

When working ribbing, after your first purl of every rib, pull the working yarn back to the back and give a tug to reestablish tension. This will scoot that first P of a rib back closer to the previous K stitch and eliminate laddering in that row, but won’t fix the previous rows, unfortunately.
