Today he was on CNN insisting the agents in the Pretti shooting case were the “victims”. One of the most absurd statements we’ve yet heard.

I wrote to our senators today to make this very point. They’ve lost our trust. Of course, the government has lied to us before. But we’ve not seen anything like this in my lifetime. We know they are lying, they they know they are lying, they know that we know they are lying, yet they persist.

In this moment, prior or current political persuasion does not matter. All that matters is right and wrong. What is happening is wrong and we stand against it, together.

Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

Liam is one of four Columbia Heights, MN school district students who have been taken by ICE in the last two weeks, the school district said. Liam's teacher: “He is so kind and loving, and his classmates miss him. He ... just brightens the room. All I want is for him to be back here and safe.”

In horror at the detention of a child, this moment from our reporting on Minneapolis today stands out —

An ICE agent saw a bald eagle while driving with a detained US citizen. The agent said to the driver, “there’s a bald eagle, do you know what that means?” The driver said: “God is on our side.”

Minnesota: "School officials say the [5-year-old] child was used as bait. They say [ICE] agents made little Liam knock on the door to ask to be let in in order to see if anyone else was home."

Another friend put it to me like this: "ICE has made the classic Nazi mistake. They've invaded a winter people in the winter."

Can we please protect the children?

I remember being a kid and being told to go back to Africa. And that was before Trump. Kids right now have it so much worse. The cruelty is louder, more public, more sanctioned.

Shelter the little ones. No one deserves this treatment, but especially not them.

They are targeting children because they are trying incite violence. I have talked to many journalists today, and they all made the same observation: Border Patrol and ICE have been rolling around with maximum aggression, lingering for ages as crowds, gather, seemingly trying to cause a riot.
