Watching STELLA DALLAS on Kanopy and I have never seen a movie so determined to humiliate its title character. Stanwyck is great but the movie makes me angry! #filmsky

U.N. Says It’s in Danger of Financial Collapse Because of Unpaid Dues

Growing up, was taught that the U.S. proposed and then more or less sabotaged the League of Nations which was partly how we got to WWII.

Thought of that today for some reason.

I saw Kobe in a preseason game before his second season. TV didn't capture what it was like live. Shaq and Shawn Kemp were on the floor, but Kobe just had a different level of athleticism like he was floating between people. Otherworldly. Kind of like what you're saying.

The American major sports leagues are the best in the world (soccer excluded) partly because they draw from a global talent base.

Is that really going to continue to be the case under Trump?

It's easy enough to see a scenario where Trump denies American and Canadian hockey teams permission to move across the border for NHL games, which I take to be the implicit threat here.

Canadians'lll keep playing hockey no matter what we do.

Edgecombe brought more excitement and hope for Sixers fans than there's been in a couple of years, so it would be the most Sixers move imaginable to trade him for an injured superstar.

If Trump goes to war in Iran it’s not to address a humanitarian emergency or an imminent threat but because he feels like it.
