Why do we find personalities attractive? What purpose does that concept serve? How does that evolve?

But you don’t need to worry about keeping up with a story, it going a direction you don’t like, etc. there’s a personal aspect as well, being able to interact with them in real time, which aids in the remind that there is a human on the other end. And the intimate moments from that help too.

For me, it comes down to personality/character. Not saying everyone is roleplaying, but having that extra layer, that mask, can help people express themselves in ways that might not work as well had a camera been rolling. It’s like watching larger than life cartoon characters -
