Work impact can never be measured by the time spent in the office as the article below with the key finding that flexible working may have reduced time spent on work each day but productivity has increased.
Presenteeism is not the answer.
An image of Annabell smiling, with a white box at the bottom that reads in black text: 'My terminal cancer was picked up too late - and I know why'
1/1 For 2 years, Annabell Downey went back and forth to the doctor with back pain, only to be sent away with painkillers. When she was finally diagnosed, the cancer was incurable.

How often do we celebrate quietness though? How regularly is the quiet work given prominence? When do we appreciate the introvertsโฆ
Researchers have found that that more than 90% of people with intellectual disabilities will experience some form of sexual abuse at some time in their lives. They also estimate that 15,000 to 19,000 people with intellectual disabilities are sexually assaulted each year in the United States

04.12.2024 12:10 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0What's happening in the sky above Stonehenge? A meteor shower: specifically, the Perseid meteor shower. A few nights ago, after the sky darkened, many images of meteors from this year's Perseids were captured separately and merged into a single frame. Although the meteors all traveled on straight paths, these paths appear slightly curved by the wide-angle lens of the capturing camera. The meteor streaks can all be traced back to a single point on the sky called the radiant, here just off the top of the frame in the constellation of Perseus. The same camera took a deep image of the background sky that brought up the central band of our Milky Way galaxy running nearly vertical through the image center. The featured image was taken from Wiltshire, England, being careful to include, at the bottom, the famous astronomical monument of Stonehenge. Although the Perseids peaked last night, some Perseid meteors should still be visible for a few more nights. Image Credit & Copyright: Josh Dury
