As described this is my linocut on white Japanese paper of the map of the province of Alberta covered in wild roses with a big-horn sheep in profile facing left climbing the irregular southwest boundary of the province where it would meet BC in the mountains. Inked Γ  la poupΓ©e, the roses are bright pink with yellow centres and green leaves and the goat at its surroundings are dark grey-brown.

Today’s Canadian πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ province #linocut is Alberta, with its provincial animal, the big horn sheep and its famous flower, the wild rose. The block was inked β€˜Γ  la poupΓ©e’ (with different colours, green, pinks, yellow and gray-brown, in different areas) and printed by hand on lovely Japanese paper. 🧡

If you’re looking for an alternative consider Ride with GPS. It has some flaws but it’s an acceptable planning & archival tool. Good North American geographic coverage. Available: web, Android & iOS. Integrates with Strava & any gpx / fit compatible GPS devices.

What’s the original file type? Your best chance will be if it’s a RAW format.

If you Axe the Tax, you also Axe the Rebate. For a family of 4, that could be $1800 a year, more than you paid in carbon tax.
