watching last night's game that I slept thru last night. The 4 goals are sweet, but the hit by Nikishin on Dickinson and the scrum and swagger have me chuckling on the sofa and rewinding to see it again.

Ah - that would explain much of it. There was a ton of inbound traffic backed up on 15/501 (Southbound) at 5 - like you see when there's a big MBB game at 7 oclock.

Chapel Hill was a nightmare driving home from work. No idea what was up - cars backed up in all directions. Guess it wasn't just me.

Personally, I was surprised to learn the Hurricanes have "made it to the Eastern Conference Final in each of the past three seasons" !!

I was told it was Carolina who had the issues with goalie durability. Didn't Markstrom also miss months last season, and their # 2 (36 yo Jake Allen) is not really a # 1B?
