This is a flat acrylic painting, painted to look three-dimensional by employing some illusionary trompe l’oeil painting techniques. I baked a model of cookies and gingerbread, frosted and decorated everything, added some lollipops, then painted this hyper realistic painting using multiple layers of acrylic paint and small brushes. The piece took about 20” hours to complete and will be part of my 2026 show at Hidell Brooks Gallery.
