Hibert made 80k last year. Believe he has two options years too. Take Guzan and Cohen off the books should free up tons of space to sign Johnson for a two year contract.

They could even put Jayden in a U22 spot and still be less than they were spending.

Good question. Wouldn't mind paying him more than Cohen and having a steady hand to help develop Hibbert. Maybe he earns the starting job. Competition could be good.

Things I'd like to see if Tata returns to Atlanta..

1) Tata tells Sam that it was offensive to say he was just lucky.

2) An understanding that managers do matter in MLS and the argument that they don't is based on the more money spent means more wins, which doesn't apply in a capped league.

When folks tell me that Garth made up his mind about sacking Ronny a while ago, I can't help but see this being how that discussion went.

If he did come to MLS it could raise the level dramatically. Having that in a world cup year could be massive.

I want a motivator who plays attacking soccer. Someone who can insist on a winning mentality.

I think folks get hung up on his perceived inflexibility.

My biggest fear is that going to MLS would be perceived as such a massive step down that it breaks him.
