Netanyahu announced full occupation of Gaza β€” while people starve, are displaced and killed.

This is genocide.

EU must act now:
- Impose a full arms embargo
- Suspend the EU-Israel Agreement
- Move to recognise Palestine

Stop the war. Ceasefire and humanitarian aid β€” now!

Leveraging remote sensing to distinguish closely related beech species in assisted gene flow scenarios European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) forests are suffering under increasingly severe and frequent drought. Closely related beech species from Bulgaria,…

New paper from our group! We used remote sensing to identify subtle seasonal differences between closely related beech species and developed models that accurately distinguish them at assisted gene flow sites.

Structural diversity is an important predictor of forest productivity responses to drought 🌲πŸ§ͺ

Productivity losses related to drought increased with greater structural diversity & decreased with functional identities characterized by conservative resource strategies πŸ“Š 🌏

Bad. But how bad? I once asked myself, while finding fakes in the Scientific Report @natureportfolio.bsky.social.

So I decide to "do my our research" - I took 100 articles in a row from Physical sciences that contains diffraction.

Result - 15 fakes out 100.
