When I did it, after finally removing the splint, my finger felt solid, like there was zero movement in it. Bit of a shock, but it eases up over time. Good luck with yours. Damn useful these finger things!

No it's all done with 2D graphics. For my PC projects, like Melkhior's Mansion, I do use pixel shaders for fast masking, but whether shaders are used or not, the technique is the same. All inspired of course by those Filmation games. Loved them. 🙂

Isometric Masking Tutorial
