And technicians being paid- has been going to UK and Canada because those countries offer tax incentives to productions. Many of my union brothers and sisters have been having a very hard time getting work. What we should be doing is offering tax incentives to companies to keep the work in the US

Just wanted to give some clarification to the issue you have brought up - being that i've worked for 35 years in the film business as a cameraman. The issue Trump is addressing (though tariffs will definitely not solve it) is that a lot of film production - where the cameras are rolling

I believe that you can understand that this tool being used for profit going forward, especially under the current administration is somewhat terrifying to those of us who are impoverished and unable to make our voices heard under the circumstances
