This is an excellent piece that digs into something we've sort of known for a while but is unspoken - and does so in both directions - that conventional ideas of class and what constitutes what and who you vote for (see 'deano' from a while back) are breaking down.

The appointment of Mandelson didn't pass the sniff test on any level.

Nor does the awarding of huge contracts to Palantir given security and ideological risks. Especially given what is happening with US defense and ICE (see Palantir and Minneapolis).
