More than 100 arrested across UK at protests related to Palestine Action Police in London detain scores of people and confiscate placards under section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000

It's utterly mad.
These people are the opposite of terrorists.
THEY WANT PEACE.
The police know they're not terrorists.
The government knows they're not terrorists.
Yet, on the Home Secretary's orders, they're being arrested under the Terrorism Act.

These were the changes requested by individuals. Speech and Language Therapists in each prison could go some way to support these wishes....

Half were undiagnosed prior to contact with CJS. Of the 104 individuals - 2 had adjustments at Police station, 3 at court, 15 in prison

Discussion around the limitations of one Outcome Measure to demonstrate the benefits in the wide range of interventions we provide. What are we expecting to change? Need to have measures to track this specific thing. Shouldn't expect generalisation! #SLTsinMH

How do we assess #devlangdis in adults? Courtenay has put together a battery ⬇️

Emerging evidence suggests physical health outcomes are worse for individuals with #devlangdis. Why might this be?? ⬇️

Courtenay talking about those children who just about manage at primary but then things fall apart at secondary.....but there is very limited access to support at this point.
Need to think carefully about how services are delivered! 🤔 #devlangdis

Courtenay saying- Interventions should upskill individuals AND their conversation partners, and be available *across* the lifespan.
