I was holding him during the process. As much as it hurt to have him go it was really painful to see what was happening to him. I had that cat since I was 8. I remember him being very energetic and running all over the place. Seeing him barely even be able to walk was killing me.

I just had to have my cat put to sleep at the age of 17. We suspected something was wrong and took him to the vet 3 months ago, they diagnosed him with stage 3 CKD. Over the next few weeks his health was quickly crashing since I didn't have money to do everything they recommended.
