The one that got away. Anyone in the #sewing community have this vintage pattern for sale? I'm devastated that I didn't buy it in time on Etsy 😭

Am I jaded by age and exposure to international foods or did all of the classic candies get noticeably worse in recent years? Sampling the Halloween candy is not what it used to be 🫤

Also not sure about your local thrift shops but my closest Goodwill just does not care about things like heavy balls haphazardly thrown on loose stacks several feet up 😅

Maybe it's personal growth, maybe it's overwhelm, maybe it's a lesser evil amidst mounting global tension and political turmoil, but I am now able to allow magnetic tile brands to intermix in my household (and I no longer store them as complete, separate sets 😅). Progress? I'll choose to think so!

I also appreciate that two people found her review helpful for providing the information that the fabric is good for snake-carrying bags. (A double gauze, if your snakes need to go places.)

One of my favorite things about sewing is how you can truly make anything—like this lady who made her friend a bag for carrying a snake.

Mine is indeed on the chopping block 😞, I found out while in the store this morning overhearing the employees asking each other if they have other job prospects lined up. What's worse is my family in mid-Michigan will lose all three stores in the neighboring cities by them and have none.

I found with this slippery fabric at least I still had to press the planned seam for it to feed through properly, but this saved some of my sanity. Hoping that gathering hides the less aesthetic bits 🤞🏻

First time using the ban-rol method and it worked out nicely! I haven't removed it yet in this video but it pulls out cleanly after hemming.

That's just a helicopter route that is always present. DC has incredibly limited air space for obvious reasons. Usually it's not a conflict with the airport runway because of the tight height restriction and the path, but the helicopter was slightly off on both those things.

I'm mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted but I was finally able to rally enough to cut the contrast ruffle for my dress. I chose this lovely 3D floral organza and it'll take quite a bit more rallying to be ready to hem and gather it, but it did feel nice to have hands on something pretty.

What is this, the Inquisitorial Squad? Don't force the interns to break the law, Elon; maybe if everyone with a fully formed prefrontal cortex is refusing the job it should be a sign.
