I cried a lot tonight. Thinking about...everything that's happened. A lot of people who said that they'd be there were not, and a lot of people ended up being there I didn't expect. To everyone who's supported me through this, I cannot thank you enough, but still: thank you.

Wanted to poke my head in here to let everyone know that I'm doing better. I have a roof over my head now, but I am still looking for a job for reliable consistent income and hopefully also health insurance. Had a few interviews, getting there...

I think there are too many articles, court records, not to mention the video I had posted myself. That, and keeping the video I posted up is essential, since it continues to be used as leverage to fight for equal rights.

I lost my job two months ago, and I suspect that a major reason why I am unable to find a new job is due to the fact that for over two years I've been in a legal battle with a former employer, and this comes up in multiple searches when you Google my name.

Any advice on how to handle this?

The person across from me on the L train seems to fashion themself a punk rock revolutionary, but they’re not wearing a face mask, and that’s the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes me want to steal batteries. Yes! I encounter this in the US as well! I was left speechless by the amount of times I reached out to people and was told, "but they aren't allowed to do that", as though that somehow fixes discrimination or stops it from happening.
