FANTASTIC question! I think the middle of Doc Hollywood is more of a 1-to-1 to Cars than Too Wong Foo, while the inciting incident and resolution of Too Wong Foo are closer to Cars than Doc Hollywood. Imo they both occupy a similar place on the “is this movie Cars” spectrum 💅🏼
