another small addition, but here is a little service that will give you both the text from an image and generate a perceptual hash (using Facebook's PDQ algorithm) of a given image.

more to come, will also be adding the storage of flagged images and the matching of flagged images w/ osprey

In this case I don't think it'll be a problem because you're not using r2 as a CDN or anything, just using it to store the blobs as the origin cache. The actual BW usage is tiny.

All requests to the app are proxied through your PDS. When loading your timeline you request must traverse Client -> PDS -> AppView -> PDS -> Client

When loading from a feed generator it must also go from the AppView to the Feed generator in the middle there.

also need an AppView running in your homelab for minimal read latency (though tbh Seattle to the bay isn't _tooo_ bad, around 28ms from my place)

My guess is Webpass is handing off from the router under the street outside my building to the Westin building in Seattle and that my OVH VPS may also be in that building or one nearby.

I'm used to ~0.15 milliseconds of latency between two production servers on the same L2 switch. This is barely 2x that latency holy shit lol.
