However, Welsh Labour will be selecting new candidates for these vacant seats over the next year. Just think, they could potentially be selecting future Ministers and First Ministers ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

The Welsh Government has been trying to pass their budget for a while now. But without a majority, they are reliant on other parties to get it through.

Though there are other options, Jane Dodds MS (as the only Welsh Lib Dem) is considered the best option for the Welsh Government to ally with so they can pass their budgest.

On Tuesday, a vote was held on the draft version of the budget, but after weeks of speculation, there was no doubt that it would pass because the leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Darren Millar, was in the US at an event called the National Prayer Breakfast to watch President Trump make a speech so couldnโ€™t vote on the budget.

The saga of the 2024-25 #Senedd budget continues, but now we're here to take you through it all ๐Ÿซข

A final vote on the budget will be held in March. Until then all eyes are on Jane Dodds to see if the Welsh Liberal Democrats strike a deal with the Welsh Gov in exchange for their vote on the budget ๐Ÿ‘€
