Newest MRI studies confirm children with ADHD show smaller gray matter in regions tied to attention, emotions & decision-making.
I would also argue that these differences bring challenges but also strengths like creativity, flexibility & empathy shifting ADHD from deficit to diversity.
Today was a complete success. I've presented my research at the University of Northampton Psychology Research Conference and got updated on what other amazing research my colleges and our students have conducted. It was a busy day, but well worth it. ππ
