Robert Peters, Heritage Foundation, now suggests that preparing the Nevada underground nuclear test site could be too time-consuming.
He is seriously suggesting an above ground atmospheric test of a nuclear weapon only 65 miles away from over 2 million people in Las Vegas.
Let's be totally clear - air strikes against another country are a clear act of war.
We would be "at war" with Venezuela.
Really?
DOD can not test nuclear weapons.
The DOE could, but would need several hundred million dollars of new funding from Congress. They currently have no funding, personnel, or facilities for detonating a nuclear weapon.
Heritage Foundation's Bob Peters seems pretty casual about selecting what part of the USA would host a nuclear detonation. Given the track record of "down-wind leakage" from past tests (both above & below ground)...
a bunch of voters could expect new radionuclides in their yards & food supply
Sad fact: many apartments & condos (even new ones) have insufficient wiring to support swapping gas-for-induction. But, a 15 Amp induction countertop unit does cut down on our gas use.

Cutting edge medicine: developing ways to get RNAi molecules into the brain - potential therapies for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, epilepsy, brain cancer, etc. However, current US government is working to restrict uses of RNAi technology.

This idea that it is somehow perfectly normal to refuse to live next door to people you donβt have enough in common with is bizarre to me. If you want a relationship with your neighbors, GO BE NICE TO THEM. If you donβt, you are totally free to keep to yourself. This is adulthood.

40 Million Americans cut off from SNAP
40,000,000,000 divided by 40,000,000 = 1,000

The people on this airplane have a sense of duty and self-sacrifice that Donald Trump will never understand. They are NOAA employees flying their plane through the middle of the category 4 Hurricane Melissa south of Jamaica. And they aren't getting paid.
