Attended huge protest for a "small" DFW suburb....Flower Mound, TX. Held signs, found tree shade and yelled and waved a cars driving by. Got lots of car honks, thumbs ups, waves. About a thousand protesters and only a few Trump trucks with flags. No issues.

going to protest in a local NoKings event. Something has to be done when a US Senator is taken down and handcuffed at a government press conference. Trump is trying to start a war IMO.

I've been doom scrolling today more than I want to, but it's like I know something is going to happen that I will dread. I've shared in a private FB group that it feels like the late 60s again. Assassinations, riots, cities burning. I'm so proud of the peaceful protesters standing against ICE.

I hate when the national NBC evening news gives a third of its show time to Trump. Why do they give him so much air time? Cover the news with the reporter and then move on. There's plenty of news to cover. Please don't give us details in a junior high mean girls fight. Why is it so hard?

I went through a phase where I wouldn't engage with Trumpsters when they said stupid stuff on friends' FB posts. I didn't think it was helping. However, I find it helps me. I'm not rude but I am direct. It feels good to push back.

I don't think he's aware of what he's done. Blaming young people for not understanding civics is really short sighted. Does he not have principles or ethics? I think he's irresponsible.

good news in local school board elections in North TX. MAGAs defeated by folks supported by progressive and moderate voters. Keller, Grapevine/Colleyville, Mansfield, Carrollton/Farmers Branch, Richardson voters rejected book banning, transphobic fears. Local activists got voters to show up!

Let's do it. Wood floors in house had to be torn out and replaced. Just now getting things back in order.

So proud of these North East Tarrant County folks who protested in front of the Tesla showroom in Southlake, TX, on Saturday. Their third protest. Southlake is a red suburb. Full of Trump supporters who think there aren't any Dems in the area. There are lots.....but many people just default vote R.
