But I do have a reminder for you: the beauty of booktok has ALWAYS been in the people we met and the communities we were able to build. That community doesn’t just fade away.

It is the most at home I’ve ever felt on a social platform, and every time I see a writer or reader post about it— I’m reminded of just how big of a loss this truly is.

To say I’m heartbroken about TikTok is an understatement. I’ve worked for brands in the platform since its inception, and booktok in particular has been my saving grace.
