המחקר מראה איך השינוי בכללי הרכישה (פורמליים ובלתי פורמליים) התאים להיגיון הקפיטלסטי והתחרותי שבו פועלים תאגידים, למשאביהם, ולניסיון הנרחב שצברו בהגשה וזכייה במכרזים מדינה, בתוך קונטקסט של עשורים רבים של הפרטה בישראל.

המחקר שלי ושל שיר גל מאת"א על כניסת תאגידים למטרות רווח לאספקת שירותי רווחה בישראל ,ועל צבירת הכוח המוסדי שלהם התפרסם! אנחנו מנתחות איך השינוי במשטר הרכישה של שירותי רווחה בישראל, ובתוכו המעבר לשימוש במכרזים תחרותיים, אפשר לתאגידים למטרות רווח לצבור עוצמה מוסדית - מול המדינה ובעיקר על חשבון מלכ"רים.

3/5 We argue that the alignment of a market-based approach and practices in the state's social services acquisition regime, with business corporations' capitalist, expansionary logic and competitive experience contributed to their empowerment in a changing institutional environment.
