If it wasn’t evident already, the above tweet is a sarcastic reaction to try to help me process the absolute panic I feel in regard to my husband’s and my future.

A pool. My mother wants a pool.

I’m so glad that my mother is able to save enough monthly to “finally get [her] pool before next summer” while my husband and I struggle to pay rent and buy groceries.

I need help and I just really don’t know what to do at this point. Everyone is so eager to offer me assistance and then pretend like I don’t exist the moment I try to take them up on it.

This is why how I’ve been trained to never ask for help.

But since my body and my disabilities are not working on their timeline, I must be doing something wrong.

I hate that my parents are punishing me because I’m disabled. They think I actively choose to “ignore reality,” as they have put it, and use my disabilities as an excuse to not do things (read: get a job). They call me entitled for asking for the help they initially offered

And I’m not in a position to just say “fuck it and fuck you” and forgo their “help” altogether. Again, they know this. I just don’t know what to do at this point but desperately need help.

My father has now come out and said they’re withdrawing some support because I don’t talk to them enough.

I don’t talk to my abusive parents enough to receive the proper amount of financial support to keep me from paying bills with my credit card. I fucking can’t.

They explicitly know this and I have explicitly asked for more help because of this. They have since only contacted my husband about this and purposely did not involve me in decisions that directly affect me. They have access to my bank account and can confirm they go through it.

I know it’s late and I’ve been offline for a while dealing x, y and z things with my health, but my husband and I are really struggling. My abusive parents have decided to withdrawal some of my monthly support for bills. My husband has been out of a job since early October

Even though I still feel like absolute shit (and am still in a major flare) I can tell I’m feeling a little better because I’m actually able to think
